Started going around this corner,  http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Central+Ave,+Highland+Park,+IL+60035,+USA&ie=UTF8&ll=42.193552,-87.81445&spn=0.024228,0.071411&z=15&om=1&layer=c&cbll=42.181417,-87.816392&cbp=2,471.1583037327572,,0,2.0146250688715353
and started sliding, it was rainy out.  I hit the brakes, but my ectotec sedan doesn't have ABS.  I started sliding even more once the tires locked up and went straight into the guard rail.
My question is, How much money am I looking at in damage?

you gotta learn to pump your breaks.

That sucks chaimo... looks like you're gonna have to take it through insurance though. That's a good amount of body work, I think.

ya kinda agree with riz on a very rare occasion. Knowing ur car doesnt have ABS u shouldn't have slammed on the brakes... On the integra my ABS never worked since the sensor would always be out even though i replaced it twice... the mr2 didnt come with ABS. in both of those cars i have gotten sideways tons of times. In the integra once on a clover leaf off ramp goin 70. In the mr2 tons of time either drifting or just accidently getting the back end loose. In all of my cases i have never slammed on the brakes. Slowly push the brake and countersteer.

Well we definately aren't doing insurance.  I have a decent amount saved up from the past year delivering, so I'll have to tap into that.  My family if I remember right has high as hell deductibles, and low rates, so that means it wouldn't make sense to use insurance.  Tomorrow I will be checking out a bunch of paint shops for pricing, so we wil see what happens.

No kidding, that totally sucks, but if you want it fixed right, and less expensive than most, and if you want it done relatively quickly, then you only have ONE option IMO - Check out A&L, its the only shop I will go to - forever!

That sucks!

I'd say you are looking at about $1500 - $2000.

I would start looking for parts in the same color here - www.car-parts.com to drop the price and do it your self.

yeah, start ebaying new headlights too, see if you can get some of the body parts without the dealer cost... I know you're good at finding deals with ebay so get to it.
