I am reposting from another board (ET), BUT we needed a First Post Here...
I had previously installed the the first 4 items below, however the Bose system did not like the new head unit and would consistenlty fade or sound bad. The ground was also problematic and would whistle in all gears if the volume was too low.
My solution was to rip out everything and completely rewire the car. Project was just recently completed and the sound is very nice.
