Great White north will be getting up to 50 cms of the white
stuff by X'mas eve...Even snow tires may not handle that kinda accumulation.
We have about 12 inches here (good ole American measurements). I left my house EARLY to make sure I got to the office. So early, there was only me and a few other cars on the road. I think the fact the most schools in northern illinois were closed also helped that.
