OK, here is the deal, my fog lights are not working...

here is what i did to try to fix them so far:
-they are both brand new bulbs in them
-i checked my switch for loose wires
-i checked the fuse

but they still do not work. dontknow

could it be the relay switch?

ideas?

Chris, do you have the Bentley manual for it? I only have the one for Audi B5's. I wonder if the wiring for the fogs are the same for the A4's and Passats scratch

Either way, if you do see if they've got a trouble shooting thing in there. Otherwise it could be the switch itself, or something more deep then you'll want to get into. If there is a troubleshooting thing in the Bentley, go for it. Otherwise wiring on the B5's is a PITA and I even try to avoid it on my S4, so I'd take it to a shop.

There's a GREAT shop in Glen Ellyn called gearheads (I think).... It is a little out of the way for you though.

*edit*

Found them, found their site.

Dead center of Glen Ellyn in a super cool shop. I was freaked out when I first saw it. It looks like a regular business until one day I saw their only bay door open and it opened to a huge garage inside.\

*2nd edit*

Get a freakin Bentley manual!

and i dont need a Bentley manual, my car has no probems other than the fogs, and i dont plan on doing anything on my car AND i'n only going to have it until next winter, then it bye bye Passat.
