I just started having a hesitation when accelarating hard in the TT. It feels like the ominous turbo lag but I dont believe it is. The hesitation occurs when I reach high rpm only, as in when Im trying to pass some one and when downshifting, and then hard accelaration.

Any thoughts?

could be the diverter valve? i had that problem where it was leaking and the spooling and acceleration felt sluggish.

Yeah, boost leak, diverter valve, or maybe fuel problem...

Do you have a boost gauge?

Is that something new? Or it has been happening since you bought it. Cause stock ko3 dies out at about 5500 rpms or so
If not, then i guess a boost leak

Wow, Im a jerk. You all were so helpful and I dropped teh ball.

No boost gauage. I have been trying to hook up with Jay from ETK, he has a computer and some software that may be able to help. I know I can take to my indy, as you would expect, Im trying to get a feel for the problem just because I do like to fix things myself when possible. I should be able to hook up with Jay this weekend depending upon his schedule. I'll post some conclusions here when done to maybe help others.

Thank you for all your input guys.

My other guess is that it's a 1.8T thing.... I'd say put that motor in the dumpster and put a 3.2L VR in it  Evil

Yes, but only 3 cylinders spool each K03. and 2.7/2 = 1.35 and 1.35 < 1.8  Grin

So the TT is still doing that?

2.7 engine is a modified version of 2.8. And 2.7 v6=1.8 i mean each cylinder has the same displacement. But from what i understand, maybe it is harder for the initial spool, but the top end is better.
