T6, one more cylinder, one more turbo...

« on: April 11, 2008, 10:37:00 AM »

I'm looking to get a 50cc for this spring/summer, I would be open to most anything as long as it's decently cheap, and there are parts available for it. I would be open to something that needs some work, visually or mechanically or something that needs a good tune up or a few things to be running. I would also be open to anything titled as a 50cc, so any bike that has a big bore kit out to like 70cc from 50cc would be acceptable because it can technically be ridden as a 50cc and not knowing its a 70cc. I am looking to find something on the cheaper side, $600-$700, but if its in good condition or a really good deal, I might be willing to go up to $1000. I am looking to buy one later in the spring, unless a stellar deal comes up now.

Thanks

My son may sell you his when he gets his motorcycle.  I have to ask him.  It's a 1987 Honda Aero 50.
Last year we just put on a 63cc kit and a high perf lock up clutch that we ordered from a asian scooter performance shop.  this thing moves and will reach speeds of 50 miles an hour with two people on board.

Get one of these.  I had one when I was in middle school.  Hugely fun and with exhaust and a sprocket it will do better than 100mph.  Checp to own and insure too.

I was thinking about that, they look cool, just a bit harder to find and a little more expensive... definitely a nice bike though...

Carl, keep me posted on your sons bike, sounds like it could be what I'm looking for depending on how much he wants for it.

I have an 85 yamaha razz, but the only bad thing about it, is that it has no title. I would let it for for cheap though.

Could you obtain a title if I were to give you the money to pay for it? I am very interested, more info with pictures or a good description would be greatly appreciated!!!
