I thought I would post this here instead of PM, just in case anyone else may want to know. I recently saw some pics of your old TT and noticed that you had a dual (as in 4) exhausts on it. I imagine the ass end needed some mods to accomodate that as well. Can you tell me where you got that/what type of setup that was? Also if you remember, approx how much $? That looks like a possible future mod for me. The TT gets its new 19" rims/tires in April, the next and maybe last mod will be that setup depending upon cost. Also, I am due for a timing belt/tensioner replacement as a precaution, that needs to come before the mods, I DONT want to get stuck and Im approaching 60k.

Hey Adam,

The tips actually came with the car so I did not have a choice, but obviously I kept them because they are "Uneek" - not to mention, bad ass!

They are not being made any longer as far as I know, but if you would like to find out what other types of "Quad" exhaust systems are available, I would post that question on Audiworld.com in the TT forum, there is soooooo many people over there that know EVERYTHING about the TT and I know there are some with other systems.

Best of luck - I am bringing your Bentley CD to the meet this Friday!

Nope, they were not ASA wheels - lol

But, the badge was completely custom and I got a lot of shit for it from all the regulars on AW.

Anyway, the wheels were Flik Wasp Black, and they were 18" and I got them for about $600 and they were brand spankin new, and they even came with tires too - lol

See ya on Friday!

Actually, its not that bad - I have had many many people ask if they were the ASA and if you put them up side by side you will not see much difference IMO Smiley

Wow! Do you remember where you got them? I have been pricing OZ ultraleggera's 19" because of their weight, VERY light, around 20lbs. I understand with TTs weight is a major issue. But these bad boys are about $350 a piece w/o any rubber. Yuck!

Of course I remember - lol
The best place for wheels, well, one of the best places, Edgeracing.com

Post up what you are thinking of and I will try to help - but there are seriously a lot more people with lots more knowlege on Audiworld - I know some do not like the format there, but I would suggest to just try to get used to it, my TT would never have been half the car it was without that site!

The Flik wheels have a shallower, more rounded lip, while the ASAs have a deeper lip with a sharper edge. I prefer the ASAs, but then again I am biased.

I haven't really been looking, but I have not seen any other quad tip exhausts for the TT.
